Massachusetts Association of Dairy Farmers
Preserving a Massachusetts Way of Life

MADF is a statewide association dedicated to advancing the interests of the dairy industry and dairy farmers!

The objective of the Massachusetts Association of Dairy Farmers is to encourage and promote all interests which have for their purpose the advancement of a truly viable dairy industry. It is important to provide a supply of local wholesome milk, for the aesthetics, environmental benefits, jobs, tourism, rural communities and our heritage. Agriculture is the building block of our country.

And milk is an important building block of the body. According to the International Dairy Foods Association:

  • Nutrients in milk help make it nature’s most nearly perfect food
  • Milk products contain high quality proteins
  • Milk also contains the following nutrients: calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium
  • About 73 percent of the calcium available in the food supply is provided by milk and milk products
